Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Survey Transportation Technician to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma. In this role, you will play a crucial part in project layout and control, collaborating with a dedicated crew. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities and a strong commitment to teamwork.

 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and execute project layouts, process field crew survey data, and oversee the graphical aspects of projects, including printing and plotting distribution.

• Actively participate in the design process from project initiation to approval stages.

• Conduct site visits as required to clarify or verify survey data and support field staff.

• Revise and modify drawings as necessary to meet project specifications.

• Input, organize, and catalog data using AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and MicroStation software.

• Collaborate with the team on various tasks and perform other assigned duties.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in surveying.

• Proficiency in OpenRoads and MicroStation software.

• Previous experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) projects.

• Local to Oklahoma, with a comprehensive understanding of the region.

 

Skills and Attributes:

• Basic understanding of surveying techniques, hardware, and software equipment.

• Ability to read and comprehend project plans and specifications.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and MicroStation processing software.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
